Colts Victorious in Season Opener
The Colts came out victorious in their season opener. After a slow start, the Colts turned up the defense and pulled away for a big victory on opening night. Trailing 14-4, LJ Ewelt hit a three that helped to change the tide. Luke Mathiesen and Sean Crowey made their presence known as the Colts used their size and height advantage to take a 35-28 lead into halftime. The second half saw the Colts hold the Vikings to 21 second half points and continue to score in the paint to widen their lead. The Colts had 5 players in double figures (LJ Ewelt, 17, Sean Crowley-15, Luke Mathiesen-12, Brylan Lundy-11, Daylen Fleming-10). The Colts return back to their home floor for their next game against Monterey Peninsula College on Wednesday, November 8th at 5pm.
