SALINAS – The Cañada College men's basketball team continued its impressive start to the 2024-25 season. On Wednesday, the Colts surged to the fourth straight win, a big 77-56 victory at Hartnell College.
The Colts built up a 47-28 lead at halftime and were never threatened. Cañada received contributions from all over the floor for the win.
Logan Baltazar led the Colts in scoring with 17 points. He added 7 rebounds. Brylan Lundy and Jake Skaggs both had solid all-around games. Lundy totaled 14 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals. Skaggs added 12 points, 9 boards, 5 assists, and 2 steals.
Off the bench, Josiah Morris contributed 10 points and 4 rebounds while Ezekiel Natorilla added 9 points and 6 boards.
Cañada will look to keep the momentum going on Friday (Nov. 15) when the Colts host Merritt College in a 6 p.m. non-conference game.
