PLEASANT HILL – The 2024-25 Cañada College men's basketball season got off to a good start as the Colts earned a 68-60 win at Diablo Valley College on Friday.
Cañada took a 33-25 lead into halftime and was able to hold off Diablo Valley for the victory.
Sophomore Brylan Lundy led the Colts with a game-high 18 points in his season debut. He added 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.
Darius Jackson poured in 16 points to go along with 5 rebounds and Logan Baltazar added 11 points. Jake Skaggs contributed 8 points, 8 boards, 4 assist, and a pair of steals as well.
Cañada returns to action on Wednesday (Nov. 6) when the Colts travel to Monterey Peninsula College for a 7 p.m. Coast Conference interdivision game.
