Colts Win Game 1 of CCCAAs in 11

Colts Baseball (23-17-1) took game one of the best-of-three series with Merced, 2-1 in 11 innings in the opening round of the CCCAA Regionals.

Ben Singler's two-out base hit broke the stalemate in the 11th after Trevor Leon's RBI single tied it at 1-1 in the seventh.

Frankie Pellegrini's 1-2-3 11th closed out the game one victory.

The Colts will have two chances to move onto the Super Regionals on Saturday with games starting at 11 a.m. in Merced.
