Colts Play Chabot This Week

Colts Baseball (14-8-1, 2-1 Coast) will play Chabot College this week in three Coast Conference games. The Colts will travel to Oakland on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Weekday games are at 2:30 p.m. and Saturday's game is at 1 p.m.

• The first game of the series was moved to Wednesday due to weather concerns.
• The second and third games of the series will be played at Chabot due to storm damage at Colts Field.

The Colts opened up Coast play last week by winning the last two games of the series with Skyline 9-5 and 4-2.

Last Thursday John Paul Avila hit a three-run homer in the fifth, his second homer of the season. He also had two hits on Saturday. Ivan Herrera's RBI single in the fifth proved to be the difference maker on Saturday.

Overall Noah Long leads the club with a .361 average, while Joey Lee has driven in a team-best 15 runs with 10 steals and 18 walks as well.
