Colts Look to Rebound This Week

Colts Baseball (10-7) has dropped four-of-five games after starting the season 9-3.

The Colts travel to Monterey on Tuesday and return home Wednesday to host Ohlone. Both games are at 2 p.m. The Ohlone game was moved up due to rain.

The Colts also host Gavilan on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Outfielder Noah Long leads the club at .400, entering the week. Five Colts have driven in at least 10 runs as part of a balanced attack, as third-baseman Lucas Herrera and shortstop Trevor Leon each have driven in a team-leading 13. Catcher Mario Duran has scored a team-best 16 runs.

From the mound, Frankie Pellegrini has a 2.40 ERA in eight games out of the pen. Starter Daniel Guevara Castro had a 3.86 ERA before giving up eight runs in his last start. He is 3-1 overall.
