Rams wrap up second straight conference championship, close regular season with 1-1 draw at Cañada

REDWOOD CITY – City College of San Francisco earned its 10th Coast Conference championship in program history after closing out the regular season with a 1-1 tie at Cañada College on Tuesday.

With an 8-1-2 conference record, the Rams have secured at least a share of the Coast Conference North Division title. CCSF head coach Jeff Wilson has led the Rams to back-to-back Coast Conference championships, including three over the last four seasons (2024, 2023, 2021).

CCSF will need to wait for the outcome of Friday's Skyline vs. West Valley game to determine if it will be a shared or outright title. Skyline is currently second at 7-1-2 with West Valley right behind at 7-2-1. A Skyline win would give the Rams and Trojans a co-championship while a win or tie by West Valley leads to the sole title for San Francisco.

With a 14-2-3 overall record, the Rams will likely earn a top-8 seed and opening-round bye for the upcoming Northern California Regional Playoffs that get underway next Wednesday (Nov. 20).

CCSF wrapped up the regular season on Tuesday with the draw at Cañada. Paige Pineda-Aliamus knocked in her team-leading 22nd goal of the season to give the Rams a 1-0 lead in the 35th minute. But the Colts got the equalizer in the 48th minute from Rosa Churape and neither team was able to score again.

Bailey Perales recorded 4 saves in goal for the Rams.
